Hotel Prinzregent München

“We booked spontaneously since our train was cancelled. The hotel is amazing, the stuff so helpful! We had an amazing welcome from Esme at the reception. We stayed only one night, but would gladly come back. The room is big, clean and you have everything that you need.”

“Hotel room was very clean and neat. Bathroom was very nice - large and roomy. Hand soap and lotion were available. Would have liked four large towels instead of just two. Breakfast was delicious! Lots of yummy food to choose from. Coffee machine was great! Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely book a room here again. Very close to Munich.”

“Room was amazingly good. Right enough size and facilities. The only thingy I missed was fridge. I had cheese from Amsterdam for friend but have to store for couple of days. Luckly the staff was so helpful so they kept it in fridge near reception. I used restaurant and food was good. I would only say that breakfast was on expensive side. But maybe for Munich it is Oke price. The gym was really basic. Sure it was enough to replace run outside for a rainy day but strenght training is impossible in this gym.”

“We stayed here for the ISPO fair — excellent location, just a short walk from the venue. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and breakfast was very good. The owners and the female staff were extremely friendly, and we truly felt the warm, family atmosphere of the hotel. They treated us and our baby very kindly. The only disappointing part: we were travelling with a newborn who is formula-fed and needed more bottled water than what was provided in the room as courtesy. We forgot to buy more water outside during the day and it was late, at around 9pm. I waited around 20 minutes in the bar while the waiter was chatting with another guest. I was only by myself and had to take my baby with me to the bar. Our baby was getting upset, so I kindly asked again, but he told me to wait and seemed annoyed. When we finally received the bottle, we were charged €7.50 for 75cl. Even half that price would have been reasonable — especially considering the baby stayed for free. Having only such an expensive option for simple mineral water felt excessive.”
